CYP3.2 1.3 explain the selection of assessment methods: external, internal, peer, self assessment

Hi all, I am new on here today so bear with me! I am really stuck on Unit 2 Promote child and young person development-1.3 assessment methods: external, internal, peer, self assessment. I am doing level 3 at the mo.

Any advice would be welcome as I cannot find the meanings online or in the handbook.

Hi welcome to the site. You're looking at explaining the type of assessments your setting or work placement chooses to use to support the children's learning & development. Consider how children are involved in their own assessment and with their friends/classmates/peers. What external assessments are used to record developmental progress & by whom and the prefered ones that are used in the setting to observe, track, monitor and assess.

If it helps with searching, the edexcel Unit 2 is also known as CYP 3.2 xx
