I put things like.....

The physical environment:

- children can arrive safely at the building
- they need to go through locked doors
- When the children arrive in the classroom they are able to meet their friends
- what time we start 9am we all sit on the carpet area and take a register.

Within the classroom :

I put things like..
- there are two windows,
- lets light into the room.
- noise level is average and doesn’t vary much above that.
- ‘free flow play’

Staff roles and responsibilities :

- The roles you do in the nursery

Views of child :

- It is very important to get to know the children and that you know their interests and skills to help with their development.

Appropriate involvement of parent/carers involvement:

In my setting the children have learning journeys in each room which stay at the nursery until they move on to a different room.

Hope that helps!
