Hi, page 126 of the EYE handbook outlines areas as

gender
ethnic or national origin
disability
religious belief
race or skin colour
age
marital status

Consider how you would develop an inclusive policy for one of these areas and maybe involve these aspects:

help children develop a sense of identity
develop a sense of belonging
be welcoming
have resources to enable translation of language
plan cultural activities
build positive relationships
support, improve and promote participation
raise the chance for a child to have a positive outcome

It would help if you have copies of your setting's policies, can you ask if they have any combination of these?
  • race/cultural diversity
  • equality of opportunity/inclusive practice or equality diversity and inclusion policy
  • safeguarding/bullying
  • gifted and talented pupils
  • special educational needs
  • disability and access
develop a sense of identity
develop a sense of belonging
be welcoming
plan cultural activities
build positive relationships
support, improve and promote participation
raise the chance for a child to have a positive outcome

This is the TDA level 2 free sample chapter and is a good foundational read xx

and this google search provides examples where settings have inclusive policies in place - policy for equal opportunity
