Help SOS 403 Bilingual and multilngual settings activities and programmes

Birth to three
Bilingual and Multilingual settings, communication, language and literacy programmes and activities

Adapting stragtegies where learning is through an additional language programme and activities

Adapting strategies where there are communication barriers programmes and activities,

Using ICT communication language and literacy activities and programmes,

Been on this unit this week lots to do on it.

I don't work with 0-3, but what about the use of makaton and photographs. I have worked with bi-lingual children in the past (pre-school) and have found that it is useful to use a few basic home-language words (keep a few foreign language dictionary, they can be helpful) parents are the best source of info and will let you know what words are used for toileting needs etc.
