Consider what documentation you have that reflects the policies and procedures of your setting and how these are linked to current legislation, values and the principles of best practice within the Early Years Environment.
When you think about values consider equality, diversity, discrimination, rights, confidentiality and the sharing of information.

Other examples could be how and when you liase with parents about activities and acheivements - how everyone knows about routines and expectations - entering preschool & taking off coat, registration system and taking home pictures / paper, input on focus ideas and how to make suggestions - how your feelings on this / values are evident in the way everything is organised and managed ...

How do you use your parents area & notice boards, meetings and availability before, during & after sessions to share information & request feedback .. and how does this all reflect back on the ethos & principles of your group ..

Welcome to Silkysteps
