SOS Legal responsibility to report injuries and illness

im stuck on this one if anyone can help! pleasee

explain the practitioner’s legal responsibility with regard to recording and reporting accidents, incidents, injuries, signs of illness and other emergencies:
• within the setting
• external agencies

and identify sources of current guidance for planning healthy and safe environments.

Hi, page 139 of the CYPW handbook explains how the Health and Safety Act 1974 for Great Britain gives overall responsibility to the employer but also gives duties to employees.

If you search in the amazon preview for the words Health and Safety Act click the link to page 137

Page 28 of the EYFS framework (if you work in England) also requires you to report accidents, incidents, injuries, signs of illness and other emergencies, to parents and that the setting keeps a written record. If you ask your setting/placement about this you may find a colleague has designated responsibilities for reporting to external agencies and who these are (OFSTED? HSE?)

Hope this helps a little xx

Help SOS Help me 304!

can you also help me with this one?
explain how legislation informs the policies and procedures for equality, diversity and inclusion with regards to:
• provision of service and access,
children,
• the practitioner,
• volunteers, colleagues and other professionals,
planning and carrying out physical care routines
