hi i have to do short ,medium and long term planning to include festivals any ideas pls

Hiya, Chinese new year is an upcoming festival you could include.

Are you putting together ideas using planning formats - interest sheets that your setting uses ?

i really dont have a clue what you mean sorry i can be dim at times

A starting point would be looking at what your setting already uses, then perhaps you could add your own ideas to their prefered fomat of planning.

Every setting will have it own way of doing things - there is no 'correct way' to do it.

short term planning-this week we are going to do about halloween
medium term-then we will do about chinese new year, and christmas
long term planning-then we will do easter activities, and then about thanks giving

but obviously you have to be more specific about what activities youl do, and about how the activities relate to the eyfs and how it wil promote development, rational,goals, how its age and stage appropriate and how it can be ajusted to meet individual needs-differentiation, also try using your search engine to get a festival wheel or calendar with all the events on throughout the year-also think bout things such as children in need day etc

also think about ways to record and write down planning, list reasorces etc, maybe use a planning sheet or will you just write it?

It may be easier to use documents that are more familiar.. possibly good for colleagues to have a say with as well. Let us know if you find any good festival activities online.
