Default Cyp 3.3 3.1

3.1 Explain why it is important to ensure children and young people are protected from harm within the work setting.

obv it is important to so children don't come to any harm as they are left within our care and the parent/carers trust us to look after the children, but i am struggling with writing why, i keep going on to talk about how, but the question asks WHY! and i just cant seem to find the words to write!!! any help would be brilliant! x

Hi

I put this in aswell as the other advice you got from Tutu:
Why???

Children do not have the knowledge or know how to protect themselves so we have a duty to help them achieve this.

Just a little bit of info

Can anyone help please, I am stuck on CYP 3.3
How can childcare workers take steps to protect themselves within the work setting and off-site visits?
Every time I look up information I keep getting how to protect children.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I put things like, ensure they are never left on their own with a child, follow correct policies and procedures when changing children so an allegation cannot be made that they are doing it incorrectly. ensure accident/incident reports are filled out correctly and accuretly. hope this helps
