Default Witness Status list

Hi,

I'm getting a bit confused about witness lists. I've been told to put in a witness status list into every candidates portfolio. None of them have any witness statements, as we don't do them within our centre, so i'm confused as to why I need them. The only thing that employers/teachers have signed are their assessment plans.
Apprieciate any thoughts, thanks

Not that im an assessor but having talked about this with mine, she requires a witness status list from my setting basically stating whos who eg managers, colleagues etc so that if they witness any of myreflective accounts or evidence my assessor knows their status within the setting and can ask that its a true account etc, hope that helps a bit.

I dont know if this is of any help, but within our company this is why we do them....

If an employeer or senior member of staff has signed the learners reflective accounts, written work or procuded any witness statements for them, then they count as a witness. Busy bee is also right, as the IV will want to know the employeers/seniors status/level so they know what level of management the person who signed it is. This also means IV's can make sure that the management who are signing the learners work are eligable/have enough experience and qualifications to sign the work.

You yourself are also a witness and you would be a level 1 and asses all units, so you would need to put yourself on the witness list.

Hope that makes some sense?
