this is what i wrote about:

1.2 explain current theoretical approaches to creativity and creative learning in early child hood.

How creativity and creative learning can support young children's emotional, social, intellectual, communication and physical development

The objectives
Creativity is concerned with traditional craft and facilitating children to express themselves through the arts.
Creativity is about self -expression and exploration of emotions, so it is the process of creating that is important, NOT the end result. Children should be given the opportunity to explore a variety of media

Examples of creativity include:
Drawing
Painting
Modeling and sculpting
Craft
Dance
Music
Imaginative play (small world play and role play)
Creative Learning
Theoretical approaches
Nature v/s Nurture
Cognitive Theory
Social models
Cultural Approaches
Role Modeling
Creativity as a Process
Lateral Thinking

Creative learning is about helping children to use their imagination, this is intellectual development and being creative enables them to practice their problem solving skills.

A good way to promote creative learning is through heuristic play, this involves providing a variety of random objects for a child to make sense of and explore.

Examples include:
Exploring materials and objects
Problem solving (making a den or a model)
Thinking imaginatively
There are many theoretical approaches to creativity and creative learning

Some key approaches include:
Activity
Homework task one
Provide an explanation of creativity and creative learning
Now explain and analyse the difference between the two
How to analyse
An analysis is an explanation of what creativity and creative learning is and an explanation of the differences between the two, although they interlink, what makes them different?
Activity
Creative learning OR creativity?
In your groups, move around the activities, explore and create and decide if you are being creative OR participating in creative learning
Activity
Watch the clip and note how theory has influenced the settings approach to how they provide creative activity for Paige
Homework task
Think about your setting and how it promotes creativity.
Using the hand out make the links to theory
what theory has influenced the way in which you facilitate creative learning and creativity
Evaluate the method by writing the positives and negatives
Born or learned?
One of the most famous debates within Childhood Studies is that of the Nature Nurture debate.
Are some children naturally creative? Or is this something we nurture?
This is about how children make connections and the way the brain processes information

Cognitive theorists include:
Jean Piaget
Lev Vigotsky
Jerome Bruner
B.F Skinner
Albert Bandura

Differentiate between creativity and creative learning
Provide an explanation of creativity and creative learning
Analyse the difference between creativity and creative learning
Identify how theory has influenced approaches to providing creative activity for children
:

This is about the environment and the adults role in it, how the children are given experiences and opportunity's to be creative.
Social models link to cultural approaches and role modelling
This is about the environment and how supportive it at enhancing children's creativity.
Society has to embrace new ideas and we have to provide an environment where children can explore and be creative.
Children learn by watching and being with adults.
we need to give them the opportunity to observe us being creative, whatever that is such as drawing and painting, solving problems, or being flexible
This is about how new ideas emerge, and what the process is.
Graham Wallas theory was that we go through a five stage process when being creative
Preparation (thinking about a problem)
Incubation (time spent thinking unconsciously about a problem)
Intimation ( being aware that an answer has almost been found)
Insight (being aware of the answer)
Verification (working on the solution)

hope this helps you start x
