hiya i had a brief discussion with my tutor today about this, we mainly talked about travellers. They may have their own views on how their children will be brought up. May be taught from home. treat boys and girls differently.Girls are often kept home to look after their siblings. This will affect their life as they grow up and it is seen that woman look after the family home and men work.

may be a lil help

kirsty

some of the ethnic minorities with different faiths still stick to the old role of female staying at home which could mean that they don't push themselves academically as they know they will never use any qualifications gained after they have married (usually young 16/17) as their husband will support them financially I hope this helps
