1.) Ask your colleagues to write witness statements for you to cover some of the PC's

2.) When your assessor comes out to observe you, try to cover as many of the PC's as you can

3.) Ask your assessor if you can do more Professional Discussions and get questions signed off this way instead of you having to type out loads of detailed answers

4.) Cross reference questions that require similar answers to avoid repeating yourself

5.) Try to cover some of the questions by writing reflective accounts

6.) Work out how many questions you still have to answer and how many days you have left to complete. Work out how many questions you need to answer a day in order to complete so that the work is broken up into sizeable chunks - stick to this schedule and stay focused - do not get distracted

7.) If you get stuck on a question, look it up in the SILKYSTEPS search engine or ask for help with the question

8.) Believe in your ability and don't give up - you have got this far and WILL get it done on time!

Best Wishes

I would also add to Doodah's good advice, when you are being observed try an answer some knowledge questions as well so you are killing 2 birds with 1 stone so to speak.

Dont give up you have come to far, you can do it

I was in the same position as you, i was given a time to finish mine and i had panic on!! I was going to give up but id done half of the work so after many tears, trantrums and a lot of swear words, i took the bull by the horns and got going!!

I made sure i went to see my tutor every week took her work to mark, emailed her work to mark, did a professional discussion every time i went and covered loads of question as well as all that i got my placement supervisor to do some comments and sign a load of witness testimonies :headache:. I had a bad head when i finished and handed in my file last week, but at least it is done now!! I think my 4yr old son and husband thought id ran away and joined the circus cos i was knee deep in books, papers as well as policies and procedures  i felt i hadnt seen them for weeks . It is worth it though!!

So get going and i want to see you with a message on the site saying your finished, no pressure eh hun lol

My advice to both of you is CALM DOWN!!!

No wonder your stressing. LAy out all of your work on a table. Sit back, breathe for a few minutes, with eyes closed, then look over what you have to do. Start with the simple tasks that you know in your heart of hearts you CAN do easily. Then once all the minor parts are complete you will feel a little better.

Then follow all the advice given to you above!!
