Notebook closure policy

Hi
does anyone have one of these?

for when you have to shut unexpectidly, ie power cut? too many staff sick

etc

have written one, but not sure it is right
when it is finalised i will post it!:teacher:

Hi cybertwin
I have also posted to enquire about a flu pandemic procedure this may include a closure procedure.
In our h&s policy we have a bit about closure in the event of accident or fire major incident etc i think a seperate policy would be better so will keep tunning into your posts.

Here is what i have written:

Closure Policy


On some occasions it is necessary to close xxxxxxxxxx at short notice. These occasions are very rare.

Situation where this may arise include, but are not limited to:
· Power cuts
· Staff sickness
· Damage to the Village Hall
· Infected Equipment
· Severe weather conditions

Before 9.15am

If it is necessary to close xxxxxxx before 9.15am, parents will be informed on arrival and given clear instructions regarding the closure and when we will reopen.

After 9.15am

Parents will be contacted and asked to collect their child as soon as possible.

Each situation will be assessed as necessary in regard to the refund of fees.
