Hi, welcome to silkysteps
  • You could maybe reflect on your strengths and weaknesses - what you feel you do well in and what you feel you find difficult...
    eg.
    Challenging discrimination
    Approaching and interacting with parents
    Managing behaviour, conflict and negotiation.
    Promoting participation
finding ways to overcome difficulties - asking, reading, watching others, practising responses, and how you can share your professional expertise, what you do well, with others.
  • You could ask colleagues for their input and see how they think you could develop your professional practice.
  • You could ask about training courses, identify ones you feel most interested in, relevant and maybe find out about sources of funding.
