SHC 32 Engage in personal development in health, social care or childrens and young peoples setting . . . .

1.2 ~ Explain expectations about own work role as expressed in the following standards:

a. Explain the importance of reflective practice in continously improving the quality of service provided
b. Describe how own values, belief systems and experiences may affect working practice.
c. Explain the sorts of problems that may occur when supporting learning activities and how to deal with these.
d. Explain the importance of evaluating learning activities.
e. Explain ways in which children and young people can experience predudice and discrimination.
f. Explain what is ment by inclusion and inclusive practices.
g. Explain the characteristics of assessment for learning.
h. Explain the importance and benefits of assessment for learning.

Any help with the above would be FANTASTIC as i'm a little behind with my course work and can't get my head around these. My tutor said i need to include for each standard above

my advice would be to work through them one by one each one is a huge piece of work which needs references and real life examples from your own practice. they are not really connected so do them separately
having said this this is probably the easiest unit as it is all about you and your work so just need to plough through. remember level 3 is a level so you need to write a good amount and use references NOT the text book which is just a guide. knowledge understanding and performance is simply what you do why you do it and how you do it. remember to use policies and procedures as evidence
