Hi welcome to the site.

Page 168 of this Early Years Educator level 3 handbook will help you research this.

The role of the EY's practitioner includes
  • Knowledge of & supporting child initiated and adult-led activities and experiences.
  • What expressive arts and design is and how you encourage it.
  • How you extend creative/imaginative play
  • The use of language
  • Use of the environment, its resources, culture and the natural materials you have available and access to.

Hi, what activities happen in your setting that enable children's imaginative play? When and where would you say they are able to lead that play for themselves - dressing up, role play, home corner, dancing? What activities encourage children's creativity, enabling them to communicate in ways that express themselves, musical activities, dance and drama?

Expressive Art and Design early learning goals from page 8 of the EYFS 2017

When you think about your role in the setting, how are you involved during these times, before and after? Do you help to plan activities, put out, set up, clean and tidy areas and resources, do you find toys/equipment/resources when children ask you, do you use open ended questions and conversation that motivates children to enjoy their play?

If you search for the word play in the index of your level 3 handbook there will be more useful reading xx

Hth xx
