Hi i just put.............

If a child or young person has at least one strong relationship with someone who is supporting them during the transition process it can help the child considerably.
A child or young person also needs a strong relationship with some one in the setting; this will take form of a key person who will have a positive relationship with the child.

Hope this helps?

Divotce or separation ~ Be positive through this transition, tell the child that there will be two houses to live in and they will have their own bedroom. If the breakdown of the marriage is kept amicable and the child is still shown love by both parents then this can produce positive results.
Infants leaving their main carer ~ Be positive through this transition, tell the child that there will be two houses to live in and they will have their own bedroom. Bereavement or death ~ During this transition an adult needs to understand the pain that the child is also going through. If the child does not want to talk then just be there for them, when the child is ready then talk about fun memories you had of the deceased person.
Moving from a different country ~ Reassure your child that they can still communicate with their friends through email and phone and remind them of the new friends that they will make. Listen to what they have to say about the move and be understanding.
