Hi, Is this Cache level 3 Early Years Practitioner? or is it Cache level 3 Teaching Assistant?

As your assessor has specifically asked for personal experiences you need to think about things that happen in your setting:

What do the children do when they come to the setting ?
Do they stay outside, come inside, & hang up their coats and join their friends so that the register can be taken? How does that happen?

Then what happens in your setting when it's time for the children to go home? do you know who has permission to collect the children from your setting?

Page 156 of the Early Years Practioner book explains why registers are important and why professionals need to be able to record information correctly: It is a requirement of the EYFS that registers of children'#s attendance are kept for each session. This is on case of emergency, such as fire, but also for adminitation reasons.

Best wishes
