I covered this in another unit so cross referenced it but the types of transitions I looked at were age related, for example, toilet training is a transition, to going to a childcare setting, moving within the childcare setting (i wrote about how our internal transition policy helps children to get to know their new environment, spending time in there with their current key worker, then handing over to new keyworker) moving on to school, moving house, puberty (this would have been covered in development charts) etc.
