Default Assessment help!!!!!

Hey guys!!

I am due for a second assessment shortly, and i have to create an activity that involves the children investigating and exploring a certain activity. I already have an idea of using coloured ice cubes and putting them in water, therefore the children will see that the water changes colour.
I was just wondering if that would be a good idea, and if anyone had any tips for me it would be fab!! I am working with children aged 5 - 7 years old.

Thanks!!

Hi and welcome to Silkysteps, you can add small play objects to the ice trays before freezing which is great to extend the exploration, also good if there is a Child led focus eg: bugs or insects or maybe interlocking bricks which can then be used to build in the water, opening floating and sinking conversations ..

Enjoy the site

xx
