Assessment types in reception / year 1

Hello guys, I'm new on here .
Hope you're not working too hard as it's the weekend and the sun is shining!

I need to write about the types of assessment in my placement (Reception and Year 1) and have asked the teacher ages ago, but she hasn't come back to me.

So far the examples i have thought of are:-Initial assessments when they start each year (so they can get an idea of where each child is at)
Spelling tests

Has anyone else got any ideas off the top of their head?

Thank you!

Helen x
