approaching insurance companies ?

How approachable have you found insurance companies to be and (without mentioning names lol ) how have you found them when it comes to dealing with problems or claims ?

Has there ever been a cause for bad feelings when transfering services to a different company and ending a contract with the other ?

well, i stuck with the PSLA simply because theirs was the cheapest i could find, not because their service was necessarily the best! I have tried to claim twice.......once for theft and once for vandalism, and both were rejected, so obviously, not great experiences, i'm afraid!

The group was insured with Morton Michel when I took it over (6 years ago) and I've never changed. I did compare cost to the PLA once but Morton Michel were the cheapest - don't know if they still are.

I've never tried to claim from them so don't know how difficult/easy it would be, but for service I've always found them very good.
