For this 1 I wrote the answers in a table:
Specific requirements Support 1 Support 2
A child with autism
Support 1: The practitioner could use visual aids to help them to understand the world more clearly.
Support 2: Separate lesson/activity plans than other children in their class can be used to support them, and they may also need support from a SENco for planning and reviewing.
A young person with a hearing impairment
Support 1: Working with Speech Therapists could help to support the young person.
Support 2: A deaf young person could also be supported by the use of hearing aids, or sign language if they are completely deaf.
A child or young person who is visually impaired
Support 1: The practitioner could use larger fonts and images when teaching the child/young person.
Support 2: Practitioners could develop a sensory area or room, which will encourage the child/young person to develop their senses further.
Hope this makes sense, and hope it helps :)
