Default Extended project???

Heya!

Just got back after half term and the college I am at says that there is 'an extended project' that we complete during the second year?

Although we are just planning for it at the moment, has anyone done this for their level 3 Childcare, learning and development course and does anyone have any ideas for an extended project?
I'd like to do something that is child related but I am a wee bit lost and confused here!

Thanks, Little-Roo xx
