Default Reception readers

Hi this is my first time on this wonderful site so please bear with me!!!... I am studying my nvq level 3 stls...i am very fortunate at the moment because I am supporting two 4yr olds in reception with their phonics. One of them is not too bad but attention span is not great,as for the other one she is always away with the fairies and her concentration span is very poor!!! Any tips would be appreciated to get them both concentrating ( I take them off on their own somewhere quiet) as I do this voluntary and want to show the teacher what I can achieve with them to enable to get some paid hours eventually.many thanks.
