hi all how doi put into words how i would challenge abusive matters between staff/children? im really stuck on this assignment,and what legislation is there regarding children?well theres lots what one do i write?how does this affect my child care provision? i dont know how to put this on paper pulling my hair out nvq3

It might help to make up scenarios such as:

You and a colleague are working with the children preparing food for a snack. You hear a child say,"I hate spicy food it's horrible!". Your colleague replies'
"So do I. It's what black people eat, nasty isn't it?"
(It could easily be one child talking to another that you overhear)

How would you respond to this?
Write your answer here.

The legislation would come under the Race Discrimination Act and it affects your provision inmuchas you need to have a clear policy on Equal Opportunities and examine your practice to ensure that you meet this.
