Help SOS Support children to achieve their learning potential

Hi, this is my last optional unit but I have been staring at the same two questions for days now and I'm still not sure exactly where to start. I work in a pre-school setting and all my examples seem a bit too simplistic to me so I would appreciate ANY advice. There questions I am struggling with are...

* Demonstrate how to encourage childen to recognise how their interests, talents and abilities can help them to achieve their aspirations.
* Work with a child or young person to help them see how they can build on their interests, taents and abilities.

This is my very last unit so I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but these two questions have really brought me to a halt.
