Default Supporting children's and young people's travel outside of the setting

Hi has anyone done this unit pls , I'm struggling a little and any help/guidance would be good x I'm stuck on 1.2 describe the different travel arrangements which are appropriate to the individual needs of children and the range of journeys undertaken

Hi a warm welcome to the site :)

These are the different arrangements you need to be familiar with, quote from the OCR unit pdf

Travel arrangements as appropriate to the journey eg:
  • method of transport
  • route
  • departure and arrival times
  • stages in the journey
  • food and drink
  • comfort and hygiene
  • overnight accommodation
  • supervision and support
  • transport of equipment
Page 261 of the level 2 STL textbook on amazon.co.uk then looks at the legal requirements and the sort of Travel policy that you may find your setting has in place.
