sidan - staff induction pack ?

hi this is my first time starting a thread but i have researched a lot so far for my nvq 3 so many thanks already my assessor has given me an assignment 006 to do and it involves making a staff induction pack could any one please help as I don't know how to start it.

Hi Sidan, welcome to Silkysteps

Staff induction packs can contain various pieces of information.
New staff are entitled to a tour of the premises and the opportunity to watch things in action so they can see what sort of routine there is.

A Letter of Welcome
Group opening times.
Possibly Job description/shift and team contact details.
Any dress or uniform needs
Copies of policies and procedures
Prospectus

Updating this thread with news that the CWDC website seems to of had a pretty big revamp ..

This statement should help people locate the information that was contained on the pages originally linked to !!

All of our induction materials, including workbooks and training materials are currently being reviewed as a result of the field testing project. An updated version of the workbook will appear on this website in September 2008, and further training and guidance materials will follow during the autumn. If you require a back issue of one of our induction publications e.g workbooks or guidance please email us.
