305 - whistleblowing

I have got a question to answer on whistleblowing and not working over summer so unable to access nursery policies and procedures tried contacting manager but must be on hols as no reply, but im sure that whistleblowing policies would be along the same lines in all settings, i just need to write about the correct procedures to follow if there were concerns about other colleagues and if they were not taken seriously or followed through when following procedures, cant say iv ever seen our policy but i guess we must have one, would anyone be kind enough to share or perhaps give me a brief outline of what should be followed.

Thanks in advance.

Hi busybee
Take a look in the downloadable documents section, page 2, down the bottom end.
My whistle blowing policy is there if that's of any use to you.

Hi Alka
welcome to the forum.
If you click on the 'forums' button top left hand side under the silkysteps logo - there you'll find the 'early years discussion forum' 2nd down on the 2nd column - you'll see 'dowloads' lots of stuff there - including the whistle blowing policy.

Hope that makes sense - someone else may be able to do a direct link!

Hi Powell not everyone has access to industry specific books.

This is the link for the Whistle blowing policy and a Search for 'Whistle blowing will return a few threads on here: Advanced search page

If anyone has any website links that they've found useful please feel free to post ..
