Default EYFS In Out Of School Settings

Hey All,

I work in an out of school club and I am getting confused by the EYFS in the out of school setting. I have been told on a training course that we can do the planning daily with the children as long as we evaluate at the end.
But my manager keeps saying we cannot do this as we wouldn't be able to do the next steps for the learning development stage. I wouldn't mind but the training course I was on was the EYFS one so got the information from someone who should know about it all.
My manager isn't listening to me, so was wondering how you all do it in an out of school club.

We do adult focus activities so surely we would use the adult focus activities to do the next steps in the learning development stages and the children could help fill in the rest of the planning like the lady on my training course had said. Then it would save use writing it all out the having to write next to it that the child wanted something else out, so ofsted could see we are providing child choice.

I am getting so confused with it all and my manager and duty manager are not helping at all.

We've been told we don't need to cover it in the same depth as school just compliment it, otherwise we are repeating what they are doing.
We plan daily which toys are coming out with the help of the children. We then have 1 focused activity going on all week.
On the back of the planning sheet we have boxes for obs of the children.

i was told that i only had to show i was aware of the eyfs in out of school settings but if we had any children attending under the age of 5 then we would have to implement it just for those children

we've made it inclusive for all the children, so they all have a scrap book where they put different things in
