Default evaluate observation methods in relation to the current framework?

Hi guys,
Hoping you can help?
I need to evaluate observation methods in relation to the current framework.

I understand how to do this but for some reason I can't think of how to start it off? If that makes any sense at all lol

Hi, a very warm welcome to the site.

To evaluate them you need to first identify which methods you use, then see how each one links to the framework's (EYFS?) 7 areas of learning. You could then start by naming the different types of observations that are used in your setting and how they reflect the setting's framework (EYFS?) 'In my setting we use a range of observational methods ... each one collects information about a child's development that can be linked to the EYFS'

There's a list of observational methods here that you may find helpful: observation methods and if you use the look inside feature of this observation and assessment book on amazon.co.uk you may find a way to start xx
