herb patch

a gr8 sensory area, and ofsted will like i just planted a few herbs in a small area of my garden, am going to add more to make stronger smells but it covers smell, sight, touch, taste

we have some herbs in our nursery garden. The smell from the lavender had the children very interested. A friend told me to cut back the lavender so we got the children to help us do this and made lovely lavender bags for them all.
Very good way of using natural resources and using all senses. i agree.

I usually have herbs in my back yard and the one that the kids seem to always head for is a curry plant. It smells just like a nice curry and can be picked up a most garden centres.
