Hi a warm welcome to the site. The word 'do' is closed so limited and unquantifiable information will often be given back - yes/no

'How safe do you feel' opens things up ... at home/out playing/when walking to school/during lunch break/walking home from school? helps focus an answer on gathering more details and matches up to with what you're looking for eg. to know if children feel safe from harm when they're at home, during their trantsition to, from and during a section of the school day.

Open: how, what, which, when, where, why, say, tell, explain,
Closed: do, did, does, are, is, can, may, should, will, have, could, might, shall,

What information do you want your questionnaire to try and capture?

Are they going to be handed out to children or adults, how might that impact on the way you word things?

Is this questionnaire going to focus on one of SHANARRI's wellbeing areas, or all of them?

Is this questionnaire a one-off or part of a system you've in place for gathering feedback?

Scotland's Shanarri measurements

The last link on this page 'gets behind the indicators' and might help you find what's needed xx

Hope this helps a little, best wishes
