Default describe ways that parents may participate

hi all im new to this not sure how it wrks but if any1 can help would b great...... you all seem so nice and helpfull

im doing a nvq level 3 question is..... describe ways that parents may participate in a pre-schools activities to promote their childrens learning and development????

just not sure how to get into this one because evn im not to sure yet very slow learner lol but anything to start me off will help

i am sure you covered this is level 2 it is the backbone of the eyfs so you need to look there start with card 2.2 then look at the eyfs site. try www.peal.org.uk and remember that every thing a practitioner can do so can a parent. we are only the professionals and with support and guidance parents can be fully involved in the setting. there are also several books written about working in partnership with parents.

You can mention, parents who have second language to come and tell stories in their language, do some cooking with children, dress up etc hope this helps
