Lightbulb Rubber ducks !

Do your children enjoy ducks in their water tray ?

Have you ever included green wool or other 'pond things for role play ?

Our children always love water play!! We've included pond things by cutting out bubble wrap with black dots (permanent marker) as frogs spawn, tadpoles, lily pads and frogs (great for life cycles). The children always like sealife with glitter and blue food colouring, amongst many, the list is endless!! Floating ice cubes are great, good starter for things that float and sink.

Asda sell a lovely set of rubber ducks for under £2. There is a large duck with two smaller ones that sit on its back.

Items are all there for children to choose what to play with..

Just watch ducks though as we have found some can become very mouldy inside when water is left inside and impossible to dry out totally, so constantly renewing them!

I let the children have ducks to play in the water with mine to are the ones from asda if you empty the water out at the end of the day they should not go mouldy.
They are allowed to put other items into the water tray i just clean it at the end of the day
