General question :SOS help Pleaseee help with this answer!!:SOS help

Why is it important to support the child/young person to understand:
- That you will need to share the information with someone, and who
- The reason you are sharing the information????

(Consider: trust, harm reduction, confidence, confidentiality, duty of care)

You have pretty much answered it for yourself...
What will it do to your relationship and their trust if they find out you are sharing their information with someone? As such, why should you tell them that you are sharing information and why.
If they know why you are sharing their information, how will this impact on your relationship/trust?
When dealing with CYP that have suffered abuse it is important to keep communication lines open. This is why you must maintain trust. You need to explain why telling them will maintain trust, and the benefits this will have when encouraging disclosue.
