Help SOS Unit 303 K218 (birth-3yrs) Q2

Hi there,
I need your help if possible please guys to finish the very last part I need to do for unit 303. It's the knowledge point 218. I have chosen birth - 3 years and a little stuck what to write for Q2:

Adapt your practice and support all children in your care, including those with disabilities and special educational needs.

I got a little confused and wrote something which comes more under question 3, about how you would adapt the environment, but don't understand this part aabout adapting practice and support.

In Q 4 (provide a framework to support inclusion and anti discriminatory practice to meet individual needs) I have written about adhering to policies and procedures, SENCo, IEPS and monitoring through observations...would it be similar to that?? I am so confused!

Thanks x

I haven't done the NVQ route but I would probably answer this question by discussing how you differentiate activities according to age and ability -
e.g. different mark makers for different ages or those with manual disablilities or more sensory activities for children with visual/hearing disabilities

- how you ensure that children are treated as individuals when it comes to the need for rest/sleeping times

- how you ensure there is an appropriate number of staff (above and beyond the requied ratios) to support children with SEN or disabilities

- use of Makaton sign language to support children with SLCN

etc etc
