Hi, as one part of the spectrum of services setup to support children's, young people and their families, consider what provision exists to support individuals with complex disability or conditions and offer help to their carers eg. respite, therapeutic care, short break, shared care, 52 week and sort of support they offer eg. communication systems, technological aids, advocacy, facilitated advocacy

http://www.nhs.uk/conditions/social-...ng-people.aspx

From the RCC Understand residential childcare for children and young people with complex disabilities or conditions unit 302

Complex disabilities and conditions may include (but are not confined to) profound and multiple learning difficulty, severe learning difficulty, physical impairment, multi-sensory impairment

Look for services in your area that would assist and support different aspects of families lives:
• practical
• emotional
• financial
• social
• accommodation
• health
• family relationships
• employment
