i too was a bit stuck on this. i know this is a bit thick but the bit i dont understand is what is meant by Statutory and regulatory arrangements...does this mean what is the law??

Hi

Statutory means belonging to a .. or many 'Statutes - written laws, legislation /legal agreements.
If it's statutory it is written in law.

Regulatory means things that are regulated - by the law, or by other associated 'bodies, agencies or maybe ourselves depending on the situation !
Ofsted regulate by inspecting ...
