Unit 303 K3D204

New to this website and was recommended by a friend. Can anyone help as I am really struggling with K3D204 regarding the safeguards, I've read the previous answer to this question but should it also include risk assessment of the activity planned, ratio, age and developmentally appropriate, physical safety etc. I'm working alone and only see my assessor three times.

HELP PLEASE

Thanks in advance

hi, not sure what other answer you read but you might want to talk about gaining permission from the appropriate adult to do the assessment. this may be the teacher or the parent in the case of a childminder. written permission is always best especially if you are involving outside agencies. check that the person assessing the child is allowed to do so and using the assessment for the intended purpose. objectivity- you must say or write down exactly what you observe the child doing and saying so the information is accurate. dont write what you think the child was trying to say, do or achieve. you should maybe mention that the parents can access the observation records at any time.
hope this helps
