display idea for birthdays

hello, im just after an idea of how to display childrens birthdays within the setting?
I know many have pictures of ballons with each month on, but i ont know where to begin, i start my new job in pre school next week an would like to be armed with some display ideas.

i think the best display ideas come from the children, i would wait and ask them how they would want to display them then you will generate lots of incidental learning
