Hi ya,
Its basically the same as the first part 'where abuse of a child or young person is suspected' but u will need to add an extra bit on procedures and disciplinary action if the crime involved a member of staff.
Heres a bit of what I put
If you suspect that a crime may have been committed or have received information to that affect again you may have to breech any confidentiality issues even though you have been given the information in confidence. If a crime has been committed you have a responsibility and duty to report it to the appropriate person. You should follow the settings policies and procedures and report to your manager as soon as possible. Who would then take the necessary action. In the case of a member of staff been suspected of a crime disciplinary action would be taken following procedures. This may lead to suspension from work while the matter was looked into. All this information would still remain confidential and be kept between the parties involved unless the member of staff decided to discuss the issue with colleagues
Hope it helps! xx
