Default Equality and Diversity.. Help first assignment

Hi I'm new to all this. I've just started doing my level 3. My first assignment being on Equality and Diversity. Just asking for any help and tips?
Also if anyone can help with, What would be the impact if children wasn't able to participate in activities?
Any help on this would be a great help!

Hi, a warm welcome to the site. If children weren't able to participate they would have far fewer opportunities to learn and develop.

Which textbook have you been recommended to use for your course?

If it helps page 123 of this handbook on amazon looks at equality, diversity and inclusion

Best wishes xx

Thank you for your reply. I've got that down. I just thought maybe there was more info needed and maybe examples?
I've got the Louise (not sure of full name) level 3 diploma text book, very helpful too.

Hi, the Supporting Teaching & Learning book? pages 73+ Yes more examples to show your depth of knowledge - how activities enable children's decision making and not being able to take part would impact on their knowledge and understanding of the choices available to them, how to work together in pairs, groups (pg 82) listen to each other and acknowledge ideas. Resolve conflict, learn how to negotiate, take turns, share, express views and feelings.

Best wishes xx
