montessori qualification

Hi everybody. Am very almost finished my ccld level 3 nvq. Im working in a montesori Nursery where I have been for 3 1/2 years. My manager really wants me to do a montessori qualification next (equivilant to level 4?) Before I decide to do it, I need to know that if it is equivilant to level 4, it is recognised in a non montessori nursery as a level 4. Does anybody know if it is recognised as level 4 qualification? or if i moved to a new nursery after this training would I just be level 3 qualified?

Thankyou

Kellyann

it would only have any weight with another montessori i would think. more active settings wont be interested they will be more impressed with good eyfs knowledge and an all round theoretical grounding. if you want to stay in the M sector and she s paying then why not?

Im not sure how long i will stay in Montessori, I just cant decide if it will be worth doing or not. I would like to know more about it but if ever I opened my own nursery it wouldn't be a montessori one! I have told my manager I definately want a break from training once my nvq 3 is complete as I have been training for 5 years non stop!
