Default Level 3 Award In supporting teaching

Hi

I study with stonebridge and can not seem to find any help on the final exam, i was wondering if someone could please help me in the right directions and give me examples of what some have written so i can guide myself in my own direction.

Q1: In your own words summarise the major learning points from the whole of the study programme with particular reference to

* Understanding child and young person development
and
* Understand how to safeguard the well being of children and young people

Can someone if can outline the major learning points to me please cause i am lost in trying to find them, i stay up till 1 most nights studying and i feel like giving up. I have completed the first two bullet points these are the last two that im stuck on.

Q2: With reference to your own learning, summarise how you will be able to utilise these theories when working in an everyday situation?

What theories ??

and how do i start ???

Thank you

Hi, look back over the course and the title of its units & outcomes, you'll see they state what it is they've tried to help you learn xx

How children develop might be milestones, patterns, when intervention is needed, how intervention happens, why evaluating children's development in important.

Understanding safeguarding might be about recognising the difference between the overarching term of safeguarding and the specifics of child protection. Healthy safe & engaging environments, risk assessments, governing bodies + their requirements, reporting and recording procedures of the setting, supporting and promoting positive relationships - challenging discrimination & inequality.

The theories are the points you summarised. for example I'd maybe put the theory of challenging discrimination into everyday practice by offering support to colleagues, looking for training opportunities that helped deal with managing incidents effectively, being available for meetings that looked at the policies and procedures for equal opportunity, inclusion and ensuring I was able to safeguard children's access and right to high quality provision.

Hth xx
