Help SOS nappy area

Hello

I was just hoping someone could confirm something for me.

I have just started doing the physical care unit of level 3 and it says nappy area.

I am struggling with what it means. I think it means the cleaning and caring of the skin around the bottom, groin, and tops of thighs but I just want to be sure as, I would have put that under skin care myself and completely missed it out but I don't want to risk failing that unit if I do, so just want to double check.

Any help would be great!

Thank you.

Hi, welcome to the site, you are quite correct, nappy area is a sensitive phrase. It's dealt with separately as care needs can easily differ from other parts of the body as do the arrangements in a room for nappy changing and the necessary protective clothing.

Best wishes
