yes we do, am happy to share:

Dear

Thank you for volunteering to help at Little Apples on……………………………
Many parents who have helped in the past have suggested that we produce a list of ‘things to do’ so that you do not feel ‘in the way’ or ‘like a spare part’ during your time with us.
Please do play with your child and be led by what they want to show you and do with you. If you need any further assistance please do not hesitate to talk to a member of staff.
This morning you could:
Ø Read a story in the quiet corner.
Ø Help the children with craft aprons
Ø Write names on pictures
Ø Wash up the cups or paint brushes
Ø Sit with the children during registration, song time and going home time
Ø Help the children to wash their hands after craft activities
Ø Help the children to play with the toys

Unfortunately you are not allowed to take the children to the toilet (including your own child), if a child asks you for the toilet please ask a member of staff to take them.
Above all enjoy your morning playing with the children, and maybe you will learn a little about what your child does at Little Apples.

Thank you very much for sparing a morning to come and help out.

hope this helps

we also have a poster that is displayed with the sign up calendar with much the same information on it.

but dont you find that it is the same paretns that always come in, and some that always say they will that never turn up!
