Help SOS Why are working relationships important in playwork level 4

hello,
im busy doing assignment 3 unit 407 in playwork level 4 and im stuck on section 3!

*An explanation of the importance of all those working with children and young people sharing knowledge and experience in relation to reflective practice
*A description of how to create and make use of opportunities for others to discuss their experiences
*An explanation of how to foster an environment in which people feel happy to reflect on and discuss what they are doing and the challenges they face
*A summary of the essential skills in listening to others and helping others to evaluate and learn from their own experiences
*A description of the types of situations in which colleagues are faced with challenges that must be referred to others.

Some of these i know already i just thought id put them all on. any clues tips on how to answer will be greatly appreciated...... thanks in advance

Hi, the 401 unit has supportive reading in it, right click on cwdc website's link and 'save target as' to your device & open there if it fails to open online xx

* sharing information is one of the most valuable ways children, young people, colleagues and famillies are safeguarded and protected. Knowledge of what that information is helps you to reflect on an incident, examine what happened, see who reacted in what ways, what the outcome was, plan for the future by exploring how to guard against any negatives should it happen again.

There's excellent reading in Sue Palmer's section in Foundations of playwork if you've access to a copy - amazon.co.uk xx

Playwork planning & observsation resources on surrey.gov.uk

* will depend on what your setting does for sourcing & organising opportunities to chat - training, workshops, meetings, paperbased & electronic communications

* sharing positive experiences is easier than sharing negative ones. An enviroment that's sensitive/non judgemental, calm and supportive has the potential to encourage open discussion that impacts on everyones views, opinions and will go towards informing practice.

* listening and planning skills are what enables individual and groups to be heard. If you research 'active listening' and 'effective listening' it'll help

Leading a discussion group - google search

Professional reading: Leadership for quality in early years and playwork - on amazon

* this might be included within existing policies & procedures or give you the opportunity to revise them. Look for inclusions such as if an allegation were made, discloure of abuse, witnessing abuse, incidents of assault, records for injuries, complaints, a colleague experiences direct discrimination, the whistleblowing policy is used for indirect discrimination/poor practice.

Skillactive level 4 playwork NOS

I hope this helps a little xx
