this is what I've written :
Belbins Team Role Theory can help a manager to build an effective team by providing common, non-threatening and positive team language, Belbin enables individuals and teams to communicate and work together with a greater understanding. This language and knowledge can be used to bring a new team together or to make an existing team more motivated and effective. It provides a base from which the setting can follow a consistent approach to build effective team based management systems.
By using Tuckman's Team Development Theory a manager can identify where and what stage their team is at, then they can consider what needs to be done to move forward, they can also adjust their behaviour and leadership approach to suit the stage their team has reached. An effective team leader will be able to reduce any difficulties that their team members experience by understanding what they need to do as their team move through the stages from 'forming to storming, norming nd then finally performing.
Using Bono's 'Six Thinking Hats' Theory, a manager and their eam can simplify the thinking around the task at hand without arguments, it will guide the thought process in one direction, it turns negatives into positives this can help everyone in the team to understand the thought behind the 'hat' rather than team members feling other members are seemed to be judgmental, controlling or biased.
Is this enough?? :/
